V.23 sync or async compatibility on 4 wire leased lines. Newly designed
in 2002, this industrial strength modem replaces older analog equipment
to increase reliability and versatility. Available in rack mount or
stand alone powered by various input voltages.
- LL 9,600 bps V.29 Modem - 9.6Kbps Leased line modem V.29, LCD
display. Newly designed in 2001 using the latest DSP chips for superior
dynamic range and management capabilities, but still compatible with
older Rockwell chipset modems.
- LL 9600 bps Fast Poll Modem - The DCB LL 9.6 is a full featured
V.29 fast poll leased line modem with the best price/benefit ratio in
the industry. The LL 9.6 FP modem operates over four wire unconditioned
leased lines at 9600 bps, synchronous or asynchronous. It is an excellent
choice for multi-point and point-to-point applications with polled terminal
devices.
- 202T Modem - A newly designed 202T modem with full Bell 202T
compatibility for 4 wire leased lines. Designed using a new DSP chip,
this industrial strength modem replaces older analog equipment to increase
reliability and versatility. Available in rack mount or stand alone
powered by various input voltages.
- D-Series Modem - Industrial strength dial-up modem. 14.4, 33.6,
or V.90 models in stand alone or rack mount. Powered by AC, 12, 24,
or -48 Vdc
- X2 Wireless-Telephone combination modem - A most unusual modem.
Combines a wireless modem (900 Mhz or 2.4 Ghz ISM band) with a dial-up
modem for extending data communications over "the last mile", for multi-drop
radio access via telephone lines, or to cross LATA boundaries wirelessly.
- DL 56/64 DSU/CSU - The DCB DL-56/64 is a 56/64 Kbps synchronous
DSU/CSU for use with DDS or equivalent digital services. The DL-56/64
complies with Bell system encoding, decoding, timing, interface and
diagnostic standards. It will operate point- to-point or multipoint.
The DL-56/64 has a master clock mode that allows it to be used in line
driver mode over customer owned cable when operated at 56 Kbps.
SCADA Products
- SR-BPF - The Broadcast Polling FRAD (BPF) is a FRAD (Frame
Relay Access Device) for frame relay networks that will accommodate
most byte oriented async polling protocols and allow those protocols
to be transported over a synchronous frame relay multi-point network.
The BPF encapsulates async polling protocols into frame relay format
for private or public frame relay networks.
- EtherPath ® SS-1 - A single port ethernet serial server
with the ability to have a "nailed" ethernet connection to a second
unit. User can also telnet to this device to access its RS-232 port.
This full featured device responds to AT dial commands similar to dial-up
modems and is quite flexible. Configure with its web browser based configuration
screens, telnet, or direct connection to a terminal.
T1/E1 Products
- T-1 Extender - A genuine T1 repeater. No setup, no software;
just extends the T1 demarc with reliability.
- E-1 Extender - A genuine E1 repeater / extender. No setup,
no software; just extends the E1 demarc with reliability.
Multiplexers
- SR-04 W Wireless - The SR-04W statistical multiplexer concentrates
4 asynchronous channels over a single radio link. All port parameters
are set with an asynchronous terminal connected to the network management
port or port 1. Set-up procedures are menu driven and fully explained
on screen. All configuration parameters are battery supported through
power outages.
- SR-04 Low Cost Multiplexer - The SR-04 statistical multiplexer
concentrates 4 asynchronous channels over a synchronous or asynchronous
composite. All port parameters are set with an asynchronous terminal
connected to the network management port or port 1. Set-up procedures
are menu driven and fully explained on screen. All configuration parameters
are battery supported through power outages.
- SPL Multiplexer - The SPL series of statistical multiplexers
are available with 2 to 14 channels in 2 channel increments. All port
parameters are set either with an asynchronous terminal or with DIP
switches and are battery maintained. The network management port provides
local and remote unit setup, system statistics, local and remote testing,
an online manual and the ability to do remote system training.
- SR Multiplexer - The SR series statistical multiplexers concentrate
1,4, 8, 16, 24 or 32 asynchronous channels over a synchronous or asynchronous
composite. "One Touch Dial" mode is included for ISDN or dial-up
modem links.. With "One Touch", the SR uses a dial-up modem
or ISDN link. At the touch of a single key (space bar or enter key),
any terminal connected to the SR multiplexer initiates a call. When
using ISDN, the SR is on line in just a few seconds. If the link is
idle for a user settable time ranging from 1 minute to 99 minutes, the
SR automatically disconnects the phone line, saving costs where ISDN
charges are time metered.
All port parameters are set with an asynchronous terminal (or PC) connected
to the network management port or port 1. Set-up procedures are menu
driven and fully explained on screen. All configuration parameters are
maintained through power outages.
Remote Access
- RS 232 Access Switch - The DCB Access Switch is an ASCII character
controlled switch used to connect one to six RS-232 async control devices
to 4 to 152 async ports. Connection is made by entering the port number
or port name. Disconnection is via entering a control code or lowering
an RS-232 control lead. Either the port being controlled or the originating
control port can lower a control lead to force a disconnect.
- APS Remote Power Controller - The APS-01 Access Power Switch
controls AC power to any remote equipment. When used with the DCB Access
Switch, it allows the equipment to be turned on, off, and power cycled
from any remote PC or terminal. Easy Access Switch configuration provides
options for power cycle delay time, sequencing of multiple power modules,
normally on or off conditions, and control of any number of AC devices
from one to 152.
- Async Sharing Unit - The DCB Async Sharing Unit is an 8 to
32 port RS-232 Asynchronous data sharing unit, Shares data from one
port to up to 32 ports, combines data coming the reverse direction.
Ideal for POS devices, SCADA, paging, and machine control.
- Data Broadcast Switch - The DCB Data Broadcast Switch is a
8 to 32 port data broadcast device that allows all output ports to become
reverse channels upon command. It was designed for use with paging systems,
where paging data must be replicated to many remote paging terminals.
Built upon the proven DCB Access Switch platform, it includes a control
port, allowing reverse channel communication from any of the selected
downstream paging terminals. The reverse channel selection is typically
used for remote management of the remote devices such as paging transmitters.
